Jobgether is seeking a Water Infrastructure & Resilience Engineer (Civil/Environmental/Mechanical) based in the United States. The role blends technical analysis, modeling, and cost estimation to strengthen water security for federal installations, with fully remote work within the U.S.

You will evaluate water technologies (MBR, RO, AWG), conduct on-site assessments, and prepare technical reports for senior leadership. Collaboration with policy specialists and project managers is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related engineering.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in water resources engineering, utility management, or related field.
• Knowledge of water balance modeling, water treatment technologies, and conveyance systems (MBR, RO, AWG).
• Experience with engineering cost estimation and life-cycle cost analysis.
• Strong technical analysis, modeling, research, and problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to translate findings for non-technical audiences and senior decision-makers.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior analysts.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Travel approximately 10-15% domestically.
• Master's degree and PE license preferred.
• DoD/DAF/federal agency project experience preferred.
• Familiarity with military installations (CES/DPW).
• Experience using water risk assessment tools such as the WRI Aqueduct Atlas.
• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to engineering projects from data collection through modeling, analysis, validation, and final reporting.
• Design, develop, and validate a feasibility conditions model to assess water neutrality potential.
• Develop a parametric cost model to estimate investment for water infrastructure and resilience projects.
• Participate in a weeklong DoD Air Force installation assessment and collect data for models.
• Research and assess water technologies (MBR, RO, AWG, etc.).
• Apply water balance modeling, treatment technologies, and conveyance expertise to identify improvements.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior analysts.
• Author technical sections of major project reports and prepare presentations for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with policy specialists and project managers to integrate findings into a strategic framework.
• Support resilience and sustainability initiatives for critical installations.
