Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in industrial/mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience developing warehouse, distribution, or automated material handling solutions.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to translate findings into design requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel for operational analysis, capacity calculations, and ROI evaluation.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D for layouts.
• Familiarity with warehouse automation technologies and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Own scope, schedule, and quality of assigned solutions development deliverables.
• Conduct site visits and customer discussions to understand operations and requirements.
• Analyze operational data, identify gaps, and document assumptions.
• Translate data into design requirements including throughput and capacity.
• Develop and compare material handling concepts based on fit and cost.
• Prepare concept layouts using AutoCAD 2D and coordinate equipment with suppliers.
• Develop labor models, cost estimates, and ROI analyses for recommendations.
• Prepare proposals and presentations explaining the recommended solution.
• Present findings to customers and stakeholders, communicating assumptions and benefits.
• Coordinate with sales and engineering to define scope and timelines.
• Lead handoff to the implementation team and manage progress.
