Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced vulnerability researcher for a remote role with in-person workshops, conferences, and occasional travel. You will conduct vulnerability research, develop PoCs, and share findings with the VRED team to advance defense and security across platforms.

Ideal candidates have experience in vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development, with a passion for learning and solving hard security problems in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in vulnerability research, reverse engineering and exploit development.
• Ability to reason through complex topics to identify impactful vulnerabilities and craft PoCs.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn and tackle new problems.
• Able to work independently and in teams.
• Permanent resident based in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability research using various approaches.
• Develop proof-of-concept exploits for vulnerabilities found.
• Access to tools and infrastructure to perform at your best.
• Share findings and collaborate with the team.
• Participate in workshops and team activities.
• Attend training and conferences to grow skills.
