Job summary

Avantis Investors, part of American Century Investments, seeks a VP, Relationship Director and Investment Specialist to deepen partnerships with fee-based RIAs. This remote Ohio-based role focuses on growing assets and expanding distribution through strategic advisor relationships across the region.

You will articulate Avantis’ differentiated investment process, collaborate with internal teams, and drive opportunities with national impact while traveling to client events as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience selling to sophisticated, fee-based RIAs with direct relationships.
• Ability to discuss portfolio construction, asset allocation and risk management confidently.
• Represent Avantis Investors’ investment philosophy in a consultative, compelling way.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the face of Avantis Investors to the Ohio market and fee-based RIAs.
• Grow assets under management by expanding relationships with RIAs and identifying sales opportunities.
• Develop and refine a strategic distribution strategy and build a national advisor pipeline.
• Collaborate with product development, marketing, and investments to position Avantis competitively.
