Job summary

American Century Investments, Avantis Investors, is seeking a VP, Relationship Director and Investment Specialist to expand assets with fee-based RIAs and deepen partnerships. This remote role is based in Cincinnati or Columbus, Ohio, and does not sponsor visas.

You will combine strategic relationship management with investment expertise, articulate Avantis' differentiated process, and collaborate with product, marketing, and investments to position our offerings and grow a national advisory

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience selling to sophisticated fee-based RIAs.
• Ability to discuss portfolio construction, asset allocation and risk management at a sophisticated level.
• Strong understanding of capital markets and general portfolio behavior.
• Strong consultative selling approach and ability to articulate Avantis Investors’ differentiated process.

Responsibilities

• Grow assets under management by expanding the RIA network and partnerships.
• Develop and refine a strategic distribution strategy with a national advisor pipeline.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and investments to ensure competitive positioning.
• Engage potential partners with a consultative, solutions-based sales approach.
