Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management for Behavioral Health to lead scaling of billing and payor strategies across the organization. The role supervises a 19+ FTE team, with remote work and 20-30% travel, reporting to the Health Support Center.

The incumbent will optimize processes, drive revenue recognition, and partner with site clinicians and corporate leaders to ensure compliant, efficient revenue cycle operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's in Business/Finance strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in related fields.
• Senior Revenue Cycle Management experience in hospital billing environment preferred.
• Experience training teams on payment strategies and tracking reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ongoing development and optimization of scalable Billing and Payor processes.
• Manages billing personnel; advises on hiring, promotions, salary actions.
• Manages relationships with external billing entities.
• Collaborates with site clinicians and support staff to ensure compliant billing.
• Evaluates technology and outsourcing options for enterprise-wide use.
• Develops policies and provides feedback to senior management on revenue recognition.
