Job summary

Jobgether SRL, working on behalf of a partner in the United States, is seeking a Vice President of Philanthropic Advising. The role leads a high-performing team, counsels clients on strategy and program development, and drives growth across the philanthropy practice.

You will shape practice development, stay abreast of trends, and collaborate across the organization to deliver exceptional client experiences in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in philanthropy with senior leadership experience.
• Experience guiding philanthropists, family foundations, and related institutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Philanthropic Advising department to foster a high-performing, collaborative team.
• Oversee staffing, resources, and processes to align with client needs and strategy.
• Coach and develop senior professionals through feedback, mentorship, and growth opportunities.
• Manage high-level client relationships and complex engagements with strategic counsel.
• Drive business development through proposals, pipeline building, and external engagements.
• Translate emerging trends and research into practical guidance for clients and colleagues.
• Represent the organization in thought leadership, speaking, and external opportunities.
