BME Strategies seeks a Vice President of Business Development to lead growth in government contracts across public health. The role focuses on securing opportunities, directing proposals, and building strategic relationships with government officials and agencies.

As a remote-first, full-time leader, you will mentor teams, align with firm leadership, and ensure compliant, high-impact pursuits across state and local levels. Travel up to 10-20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 20 years relevant experience in business development, sales, or management in a government contracting environment.
• 12+ years people management/leadership development experience
• 15+ client-facing and project leadership experience
• MPH or equivalent graduate degree

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to identify, capture, and win government contracts aligning with growth priorities, including RFP responses and proposals.
• Oversee creation and submission of high-quality, compliant proposals for government contracts.
• Develop and execute the company’s security and growth strategy in government contracting.
