Wadhwani Foundation is seeking a senior, strategic executive to serve as its inaugural Vice President – Global Programs & Grants Management. This remote-first role leads the Wadhwani Operating Foundation and guides grant-making across WCF, driving strategy, governance and performance on a global scale.

The position reports to the CEO, requires extensive travel, and offers a salary range of $300,000–$350,000 with a 25% bonus and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of senior leadership experience across global philanthropy, international development, grant-making, large-scale nonprofit or mission-driven program operations.
• Substantial experience in technology and AI exposure preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership of multi-country programs with measurable outcomes at scale.
• Deep expertise in program strategy, performance management, MEL, impact measurement, grant governance and donor stewardship.
• Experience establishing KPIs, dashboards, funding models, operating reviews, and accountability systems.

Responsabilités

• Translate mission and priorities into global program strategies with annual operating plans and KPIs.
• Design and institutionalize MEL, beneficiary-outcome measurement and reporting frameworks.
• Lead development of WCF’s global grant-making strategy, policies and procedures.
• Oversee grant agreements, disbursements, reporting, amendments and renewals.
• Advise the CEO and Board on program strategy, portfolio performance and capital stewardship.
