Job summary

A+E Global Media is seeking a VP, Distribution Operations to lead and optimize our distribution operations across linear, VOD, OTT, AVOD, FAST and emerging platforms. You will coordinate with Sales, Product, Technology, Finance, Legal and Content Operations to drive process improvements and ensure contractual and financial objectives are met.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in distribution operations, sales operations, finance, business operations, or a related media environment.
• 5+ years experience managing budgets, contracts, compliance programs, reporting, and operational workflows.
• 2+ years of leading, coaching, or managing a small team.
• 5+ years of experience supporting cable, satellite, OTT, AVOD, FAST, and digital distribution platforms preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence/reporting tools.

• Drive Sales Operations Excellence – Lead and optimize sales operations to improve efficiency, scalability, and business performance.
• Deliver Business Insights & Performance Analytics – Provide data-driven reporting, analysis, and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee Budget Planning & Financial Operations – Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial processes to ensure operational effectiveness and fiscal responsibility.
• Ensure Contract Compliance & Governance – Administer contracts, policies, and governance processes while ensuring compliance with internal standards and external requirements.
• Lead Process Optimization, Automation & AI Enablement – Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, leverage automation and AI solutions, and drive continuous process improvement.
• Partner with Sales Teams & Cross-Functional Stakeholders – Collaborate across departments to support account teams, improve execution, and deliver exceptional business outcomes.
