Job summary

Tailored Brands, Inc. seeks a VP, Contracts Counsel to join the Corporate Legal team in guiding strategic contracting and corporate matters for the company’s brands, including Men's Wearhouse and Jos. A. Bank.

You will structure, draft, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, advise executives, and collaborate across departments to align legal strategy with growth and risk management.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in at least one U.S. State.
• 15+ years of legal practice experience; in-house experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and provide strategic advice to executive leadership on legal and contracting matters.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with all areas of the business.
• Oversee all commercial and corporate contracts and manage the contract portfolio, including trademark licensing, foreign manufacturing, supply chain, technology, and joint ventures.
• Structure, draft, review, and negotiate all contracts and provide commercial-minded guidance.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, IT, HR, and other departments to negotiate and draft agreements (ecommerce, software licensing, SaaS, logistics, staffing/independent contractor, consulting).
• Manage contract management policy and contract platforms; develop standard templates and a contracts playbook.
• Support corporate matters by preparing organizational documents (dissolutions, secretary certificates, foreign power of attorney, LLC agreements, promissory notes, guarantees, waivers).
• Participate in policy development and provide ongoing counsel on legal matters.
