Job summary

Amylyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking an experienced Vice President, Compliance to design, implement, and continuously enhance a comprehensive healthcare compliance program as the company prepares for commercial launch and rapid growth.

The VP will foster a culture of integrity, partner with senior leaders, and lead a launch-ready compliance infrastructure while advising business units. Travel ~15–20% of the time and collaboration with the Board are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; JD, Masters and/or Compliance Certification (CCEP), or comparable qualifications strongly preferred.
Minimum 12 years of healthcare compliance experience in biotech/pharma/life sciences with program design/implementation experience.
Experience supporting one or more U.S. pharmaceutical product launches preferred.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.
Strong oral and written communication and discretion in handling confidential matters.
Ability to travel approximately 15–20% of time.

Responsibilities

Build a compliance program aligned with industry standards and regulatory expectations.
Partner with executives and the Board to reinforce a strong tone at the top.
Drive the Compliance Committee and corporate reporting to the Board and Audit Committee.
Advise on launch activities to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Develop and lead training and communications translating requirements into practical guidance.
Conduct risk assessments and improve the compliance culture and programs.
