Job summary

Amylyx Pharmaceuticals seeks an Associate Director, Legal & Compliance to join its Legal Department and support a broad range of daily advising across contracting, compliance, risk management, employment law, and privacy. This role will involve collaboration with the Data Protection Officer on privacy and emerging tech matters, including AI.

The successful candidate will have 4–8 years of biotech/pharma experience, JD from an accredited school, and bar admission.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and bar admission in good standing.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with the business and provide legal guidance to support objectives.
• Negotiate, draft, and advise on a broad range of agreements including vendor, consulting, confidentiality, technology, clinical, and commercial.
