Job summary

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) seeks a Vice President, Business Success to lead resources for practice, education, and revenue across the Institute. You will guide strategy, partnerships, and learning initiatives to strengthen member firms and licensed architects.

This role reports to the COO and influences the Leadership Team, balancing financial performance with high-quality continuing education and member value.

Qualifications

• Licensed architect and AIA member with firsthand understanding of firm operations.
• Experience translating industry trends into scalable programming or resources.
• Experience leading professional development or continuing education.
• Strong business acumen with revenue-generating program experience.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and lead delivery for the business success and learning portfolio.
• Translate industry and firm challenges into practical programs and content.
• Lead business intelligence and research-based practice resources.
• Evaluate partnerships and implement new technologies to improve outcomes.
