Job summary

Versant Health is seeking a Network Recruiting Specialist to recruit and contract vision providers and facilities within our networks. You will manage provider credentialing, educate providers on plan designs, and cultivate relationships to meet recruitment goals.

This role requires strong negotiation, sales, and communication skills, plus familiarity with the insurance or vision care industry. A related degree and at least one year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor’s degree.
• High School diploma/GED or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• One year of related experience.
• Experience in Medical Network Development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Recruits and contracts new vision providers and facilities into networks according to goals.
• Takes inbound and makes outbound calls to providers who requested information or were recruited.
• Negotiate fee schedules with providers in line with corporate goals.
• Obtain and process credentialing documents and review for completeness.
• Educate providers on plan designs and processes.
• Build and maintain relationships with provider community.
• Assist in other projects and generate ad hoc reports.
