Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree a plus.
• Extensive experience coordinating or managing restoration projects or initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of fisheries, aquatic resource management, and restoration design.
• Proven ability to develop and execute multi-year program strategies.
• Experience building large partnership networks across agencies, NGOs, and funders.
• Track record in securing and managing major funding programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-range planning and implementation for Priority Waters initiatives in Virginia.
• Develop partnerships and secure diverse funding sources for conservation programs.
• Coordinate watershed-scale plans integrating restoration, science, volunteers, and public funding.
• Manage a small TU staff and annual project budgets.
• Collaborate with government, landowners, and funders to advance conservation goals.
• Represent TU in strategic discussions on priorities, management, and investments.
