Job summary

Paired is seeking a fast-paced video editor to turn raw footage and a script into high-converting vertical ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube. You’ll work from briefs from the creative team and deliver punchy, captioned spots with tight pacing.

You will produce multiple variations from the same footage, aiming for same- or next-day turnaround. Remote role for US-based DTC, with salary paid in USD.

Qualifications

• 2+ years editing short-form video, ideal for performance ads for ecommerce brands.
• Strong sense of pacing, rhythm and storytelling.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve.
• Able to sustain volume without quality slipping.
• Organised with files and versions.
• Motion graphics and After Effects.
• Experience with UGC and creator footage.
• Understanding of what makes an ad hook work in the first three seconds.
• Open to candidates from Latam or EU.

Responsibilities

• Edit direct response short-form vertical video ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube.
• Work from scripts and briefs supplied by the creative team.
• Add captions, b-roll, music, sound design and basic colour grading.
• Produce multiple variations and hook tests from the same footage.
• Deliver on a same or next day turnaround.
