Job summary

Unrivaled Basketball is seeking an experienced independent video editor to provide post-production editing services for the 2026–2027 season. The engagement begins December 26, 2026 and runs through mid-March 2027, with remote work unless otherwise agreed.

The contractor will edit game footage, athlete content, branded campaigns, and partner-sponsored content into platform-optimized assets for Unrivaled's social channels, coordinating with Content, Social, Partnerships, and other creatives while

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or fast-paced digital media
• Experience editing branded/sponsored content for brand partners
• Strong knowledge of platform-specific best practices (format, pacing, captions) across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus) and caption/graphics workflows
• Ability to receive and implement feedback from multiple stakeholders quickly and professionally
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a high-volume, remote setting

Responsibilities

• Edit short- and long-form video content optimized for platform formats and audience engagement.
• Edit branded and sponsored content coordinating with Unrivaled and brand partners.
• Create and apply branded graphics, lower thirds, motion graphics, and branding elements.
• Edit captions and on-screen text to support accessibility and engagement.
• Deliver timely video assets for real-time and gameday content.
• Incorporate feedback from Unrivaled and brand partners through the review process.
• Organize and deliver project files, source footage, and final assets.
• Monitor platform trends and best practices to improve services.
