Job summary

Pearmill is seeking a video editor to join as a full-time contractor for one client in a regulated industry. The role focuses on precision editing, asset versioning, and strict disclosure compliance across paid ads and organic social content.

You will QA every on-screen element, build templates, and maintain high-quality outputs while coordinating with the creative lead and producer. Remote first across US/Europe.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing and motion design experience.
• Expert in After Effects; proficient in Premiere Pro.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to visually QA on-screen text.
• Ability to manage many near-identical versions without mixups.
• Clear, proactive communication; comfortable on video calls.
• Files organized with clear folder structure and descriptive names.

Responsibilities

• Produce multiple variations of each concept, with high volume.
• Resize videos into all required formats (five) and adjust framing.
• Build organic social videos (Reels, Stories) from approved templates.
• Add and update on-screen elements, including required disclosure copy.
• Work from briefs and plan weekly priorities with the creative lead.
• Amend assets based on feedback until fully approved.
• Maintain a high level of quality on every delivery.
