Job summary

LifeWay Christian Resources is seeking a skilled Video Editor to own the post-production process from raw footage to final deliverables for our Hyfi curriculum. You will shape tone, pace, and emotional impact while collaborating with producers and motion designers to meet brand goals.

This is a remote US position with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person gatherings. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of professional video editing experience, a strong reel, and proficiency in narrative

Qualifications

• Editing reel required — must be submitted with application.
• 3+ years of professional experience in video editing, post-production, or media production.
• Strong proficiency in narrative editing — shaping tone, pacing, and flow across content types.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
• Experience with audio mixing and color correction at a professional level.
• Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with producers, designers, and editors.
• Willingness to travel to Middle Tennessee area 2-4 times annually for team gatherings.

Responsibilities

• Edits original footage into polished stories that reflect brand standards and project goals.
• Makes editorial decisions on pace, style, and tone based on audience and platform.
• Performs audio mixing, color correction, and sound design for consistency.
• Sources and integrates music, sound effects, graphics, and footage.
• Collaborates with motion designers to incorporate animations and branded templates.
• Communicates timelines and production needs clearly to stakeholders.
• Maintains organized file management and consistent naming structures.
