Job summary

Lifeway is seeking a skilled Remote Video Editor to craft compelling, purpose-driven video content across platforms—from Bible study material to marketing campaigns, live events, and internal communications. You will edit, mix audio, color correct, and design sound, all aligned with Lifeway's standards, collaborating with producers and cross-functional teams to deliver polished videos that resonate with the Church.

This is a remote position in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Editing reel is required and must be submitted with the application.
• 3+ years of professional experience in video editing, post-production, or media production.
• Strong proficiency in narrative editing—shaping tone, pacing, and flow across content types.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with audio mixing and color correction at a professional level.
• Cross-functional collaboration with producers, designers, and editors.
• Willingness to travel to Middle Tennessee 2–4 times annually.

Responsibilities

• Edit original footage into complete, polished stories that reflect Lifeway's brand and align with project briefs.
• Make editorial decisions on pace, style, and tone for target platforms.
• Perform audio mixing, color correction, and sound design for consistency across videos.
• Source and integrate music, SFX, graphics, and footage from partners.
• Collaborate with motion designers and editors to add animations and branded templates.
• Communicate timelines and production needs to producers and leads.
• Maintain organized file management and naming conventions.
• Participate in review cycles and implement feedback.
