Job Description

The Veterinary Sourcing Specialist will support research efforts at Alliance Animal Health by sourcing qualified candidates for our DVM roles. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders and external candidates, building positive relationships, and maintaining organizational oversight of workload, candidates, and requisition details.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

1. Proactively reach out to veterinary prospects through outbound calls, texts, emails, mailers, and LinkedIn to generate leads and support hiring managers/practice owners.
2. Utilize social media platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed to increase presence and engagement with DVM prospects.
3. Develop an understanding of industry trends and the recruiting landscape.
4. Review candidate pipelines with hiring managers to identify core and priority prospects, determining the best channels for engagement.
5. Follow up on maturing leads, passive candidate lists, and marketing outreach campaigns.
6. Generate prospecting reports to build candidate pipelines in targeted markets.
7. Apply advanced sourcing techniques to find passive candidates in hard-to-fill markets.
8. Develop candidate profiles and document recruiting activities in Smart Recruiters ATS & CRM platforms.
9. Use various technology mediums to attract and communicate with veterinarians.
10. Stay updated on emerging recruiting technologies and resources.
11. Assist in developing strategies for recruiting diverse talent across our hospital network.
12. Coordinate and schedule interviews, providing summaries of candidate interactions to stakeholders.
13. Engage in community outreach to passive job seekers.
14. Maintain and enhance the Applicant Tracking System and Recruiting CRM.

Qualifications

Requirements for Consideration

• 3+ years of experience in veterinary medicine
• Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new tools quickly
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Experience in sourcing and recruitment is preferred
