IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a board-certified Veterinary Dermatology Consultant to provide expert remote dermatology consultations to veterinarians across the United States and Canada.

The role emphasizes diagnostic guidance, laboratory result interpretation, and treatment evaluation, with full-time preference and part-time options based on experience. Responsibilities include telephone consultations for dogs, cats, and horses, and maintaining ACVD Diplomate status where applicable.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree with a current veterinary license in good standing.
• Board certification through the ACVD is required.
• Residency-trained or practice-limited-to-dermatology candidates will be considered for a different level.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone consultations for canine, feline, and equine dermatology cases.
• Advise on diagnostic test selection, sample collection, and interpretation of results.
• Support interpretation of serum allergy testing, cultures, skin biopsies, and dermatopathology findings.
• Deliver timely, high-quality consultations meeting caseload and turnaround targets.
• Maintain licensure and ACVD Diplomate status as applicable.
• Document consultation details in CRM.
• Participate in team meetings and continuing education.
