You will file appeals before deadlines, collect signatures, and keep digital files organized while supporting veterans’ benefits decisions.

The role requires dependability, detail-orientation, and the ability to communicate professionally with clients.

• Explain decisions and attorney recommendations in simple, easy-to-understand language.
• Keep cases moving by preparing and filing appeals before deadlines expire.

• Maintain clean digital files and manage deadlines with confidence.

Location: Fully Remote, Work from Home (including during training)

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am – 4:30pm EST

Starting Pay: $15.66 per hour

Now you might be wondering about the pay? The Remote Veterans Disability Appeals Specialist’s starting pay rate is $15.66 per hour. For this position, you receive a performance appraisal EVERY SIX MONTHS! That’s right! You will always know how you’re doing with your performance. And do you know what else? If you score well on your performance review, you will get a 42 to 75 cent increase every 6 months until you reach the cap of the pay range.
