Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners seeks an AVP of Vendor Strategy & Cost Management to optimize enterprise vendor spend, lead complex sourcing events, and drive cost savings across the organization. This role partners with Finance, Operations, IT, Legal, and executive leadership to deliver measurable value.

The AVP will oversee analytics, utilization management, and strategic negotiations while influencing cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related field.
10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, finance, consulting, procurement, or healthcare operations.
5+ years of leadership experience managing teams, programs, or enterprise initiatives.
Demonstrated success leading complex negotiations with national and enterprise suppliers.
Advanced analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
Experience building executive-level business cases and financial recommendations.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise spend governance and vendor spend optimization.
Analyze expenditures, identify savings opportunities, and review utilization trends.
Develop executive dashboards and reporting for financial performance.
Lead strategic sourcing, RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluations and negotiations.
Partner with Finance, FP&A, Legal, Risk, and executives to structure favorable outcomes.
Mentor sourcing professionals and contract managers in financial analysis and negotiation strategies.
