Job summary

Pie Insurance is seeking a Vendor Management & Sourcing Specialist to own end-to-end sourcing and vendor performance for our claims function. In this senior individual contributor role, you will translate business needs into RFx, manage spend analysis, and drive data-backed supplier selections while coordinating stewardship meetings.

This remote role in the United States (excluding territories) offers base compensation from $100,000 to $125,000 USD, with generous benefits and a culture of making

Qualifications

• 4+ years in vendor management, sourcing or procurement.
• Experience in workers’ compensation or commercial lines insurance.
• Ability to conduct RFx, spend analysis, and vendor evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities: needs intake, market research, RFx development and management, bid evaluation, and vendor selection.
• Conduct spend analysis and benchmarking across vendors to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Prepare leadership-ready recommendation summaries based on data.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding documentation and verification.
• Track vendor performance against scorecards and escalate issues.
