Job summary

One Guard Inspector is responsible for inspecting automobiles for mechanical failures and producing a detailed report of findings. You will coordinate inspections with repair facilities and submit results through One Guard’s online portal, including photo/video evidence.

The role requires experience in automotive inspection, strong written communication, and the ability to generate comprehensive reports. Remote-based with travel to facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Three years of car dealership experience or aftermarket repair facility experience as automotive technician.
• Proficient in identifying and describing engine, transmission and other mechanical failures.
• General knowledge of website navigation and ability to compose comprehensive written inspection reports.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with active listening.
• Basic computer skills and ability to upload photos/reports.
• Must have own vehicle and a camera for photos; smartphone acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive inspections for mechanical failures of all types.
• Document findings clearly during diagnosis demonstrations.
• Provide detailed written reports through the secure online portal with photos/videos.
• Contact repair facilities to schedule inspections and notify appointment times.
• Submit fluid samples to external labs when applicable.
