Job summary

Mercy is seeking a vEEG Monitoring Technologist to provide real-time monitoring of multiple continuous EEG recordings and to document and communicate seizures and clinical events. The role collaborates with virtual and bedside care teams to support timely patient care while upholding Mercy's mission and values.

Minimum qualifications include a CAHEAP-accredited neurodiagnostic program or equivalent, plus two years of EEG experience; state licensure may be required depending on state.

Qualifications

• Requires graduate from a CAAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program or equivalent pathway.
• Two years’ clinical EEG experience.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time monitoring of multiple continuous EEG recordings.
• Identify, document, and communicate seizures, status epilepticus, clinical events, and abnormalities.
• Collaborate with virtual and bedside care teams to support timely patient care.
