Job summary

Mercy is seeking a vEEG Monitoring Technologist to provide real-time monitoring of multiple continuous EEG recordings and communicate critical events to care teams. The role collaborates with virtual and bedside teams to support timely patient care, while adhering to Mercy’s mission and service standards.

Minimum qualifications include a CAAHEP‑accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program and two years of EEG experience; state licensure may be required, and EEG certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAAHEP‑accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program or equivalent training.
• Two years’ experience in a clinical EEG setting.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• EEG certification/registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time monitoring of multiple continuous EEG recordings and document significant events.
• Identify seizures, status epilepticus, and other abnormalities and communicate findings to care teams.
• Collaborate with virtual and bedside care teams to support timely patient care.
