Job summary

Mercy seeks a vEEG Monitoring Technologist to provide real-time monitoring of multiple continuous EEG recordings, identifying seizures, status epilepticus, and other significant abnormalities. You will document and communicate findings to support timely patient care and collaborate with virtual and bedside care teams.

This role requires adapting to emerging EEG technologies, working in a remote-friendly, fast-paced environment while upholding Mercy's mission and service standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program or equivalent training pathway.
• Two years of experience in a clinical EEG setting.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• EEG certification/registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time monitoring of multiple continuous EEG recordings.
• Identify, document, and communicate seizures, status epilepticus, clinical events, and other significant abnormalities.
• Collaborate with virtual and bedside care teams to support timely patient care.
