Job summary

VEC in San Francisco seeks an Assistant VDC Project Manager to coordinate construction projects using VDC methods, working with project managers, engineers, architects, and owners to deliver on time and within budget.

You will integrate VDC tools, maintain digital models, generate reports, support client meetings, and help improve BIM processes. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in AEC with BIM leadership and Revit/Navisworks experience are required; some travel may be expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, CE, or Architecture.
• 3+ years in the AEC industry.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Experience leading BIM coordination efforts (1–2+ years).
• Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects using VDC.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver on time and budget.
• Integrate VDC tools into workflows to optimize design and construction processes.
• Assist in BIM coordination, clash detection, and schedule optimization.
• Track progress, project setup, onboarding, and reporting.
• Prepare VDC-related reports, meeting minutes, and change orders.
