Job summary

Centene Corporation seeks an Provider Engagement Account Executive to build strategic partnerships between health plans and provider networks, advancing value-based care and improving member outcomes. You will serve as a trusted advisor with data-driven insights and operational support to providers and internal teams.

You will lead guidance on VBP program design, reporting, and performance metrics, while managing the contract portfolio and driving improvements across pay-for-performance and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years in managed care or medical group settings.
• Executive level exposure and ability to influence outcomes.
• Proficiency in HEDIS/Quality measures and utilization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary strategic partner for hospital systems and large groups in value-based arrangements.
• Act as VBP subject matter expert advising on design, metrics, and financial methodologies.
• Deliver training and ongoing support on VBP programs and reporting processes.
• Manage VBP contract portfolio, resolve data discrepancies, and support payment execution.
• Develop executive-level presentations translating provider performance into actionable insights.
