Ideal candidates have an associate degree (or higher) and strong Word/Excel skills, with customer service experience. This role emphasizes confidentiality and professional claimant support.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher preferred with six months of customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with initiative and reliability.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to handle confidential information and maintain accuracy.
• Customer service experience in a medical/benefits context is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat per standards.
• Assist claimants through VA disability appeal screening and scheduling.
• Support claimants with VA and Allsup questionnaires throughout the process.
• Record detailed case notes and maintain accurate data in the case management system.
• Explain VA decisions and guide claimants through the process with empathy.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Allsup style guidelines.
