Job summary

Zekai is seeking VA-accredited Veterans Service Officers to review and improve AI systems on veterans benefits topics. This remote contractor role leverages your claims experience to ensure questions reflect real veterans’ concerns and that answers are accurate and useful.

Qualifications

• Current VA accreditation with a recognized VA office or agency.
• 1+ years preparing and filing VA claims for veterans or their families.
• Clear, precise writing and ability to communicate complex guidance clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review sample veterans benefits questions and flag any that don’t sound like real veterans or family members.
• Write rubrics that define correct, complete answers on service-connected disability compensation, including filing a claim and the evidence involved.
• Cover dependents and survivor benefits (DIC and CHAMPVA) and appeals and decision reviews in your rubrics.
• Evaluate AI-generated answers against rubrics, flagging errors, omissions, and outdated guidance.
• Share clear written feedback with the project team, working asynchronously.
