Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Senior Utilization Management Assistant for a remote, full-time role with 8-hour shifts, including nights and evenings. You will support the Care Management team, coordinate patient assessments, and help manage utilization across cases.

Under the supervision of the Regional Director of Care Management, you will handle complex tasks, maintain records, and contribute to a patient-centered, compliant workflow.

Qualifications

• 5 years hospital, clinical setting or healthcare related field.
• 3 years Demonstrated outstanding customer service experience.
• 3 years Clerical and computer experience.
• 3 years Knowledge of insurance billing and managed care.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Care Management team.
• Coordinate care and assist in ongoing assessment and management of patients.
• Work under supervision of Regional Director of Care Management.
• Contribute to efficient utilization management processes.
