Job summary

Providence California Regional Services is seeking a Senior Utilization Management Assistant for a remote, part-time role with night and evening shifts. Under the supervision of the Regional Director of Care Management, the Utilization Management Coordinator supports the Care Management team in coordinating care and performing complex tasks during assessment and management of patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in hospital, clinical setting, or healthcare-related field.
• Minimum 3 years outstanding customer service experience.
• Minimum 3 years clerical and computer experience.
• Minimum 3 years knowledge of insurance billing and managed care.

Senior Utilization Management Assistant- REMOTE position. This position is Part time and will work 8- hour, We have Night and Evening shifts available.

Under the supervision of Regional Director of Care Management, the Utilization Management Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Care Management team who coordinates care. This position works closely as a healthcare team member and performs complex tasks related to the overall team functions and activities identified during the initial and ongoing assessment and management of patients.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 yearsHospital, clinical setting or healthcare related field.
• 3 yearsdemonstrated outstanding customer service experience.
• 3 yearsClerical and computer experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
