Qualifications

• 2 years in hospital billing, follow-up, or authorization field.
• Knowledge of managed care contracts and payer processes.
• Experience with EMR systems and healthcare terminology.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end authorization process from notification to discharge.
• Document records in EMR, CorroHealth systems, and payer portals.
• Verify patient eligibility and benefits.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and payers to resolve issues.
• Monitor timely filing guidelines and follow up on authorizations.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance.
