CorroHealth is seeking a detail-oriented Authorization Specialist to manage end-to-end authorizations from initial notification through discharge. You will document in EMR and CorroHealth systems, verify patient eligibility and benefits, and liaise with hospitals and health payers to move cases forward within set timelines.

The role requires experience in hospital billing or authorization, knowledge of managed care contracts, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in healthcare administration preferred.
• 2 years of experience in hospital billing/follow-up/healthcare setting/authorization.
• Knowledge of managed care contracts.
• Experience with customer support and issue resolution.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes.
• Experience with EMR systems, Epic preferred.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Strong multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and web systems.

Responsabilidades
