One Call Concepts Locating Services Inc. is seeking a Utility Locating Dispatcher / Clerical Assistant in Hanover, MD. The position is full-time with a 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule and occasional overtime. Salary ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour with pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client correspondence and internal coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office software or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch field personnel based on priority, availability, and geographic location to address service requests and emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all dispatch activities, including work orders, crew assignments, and communication logs.
• Communicate effectively with field personnel, management, and clients to provide updates, gather information, and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to optimize resource allocation and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Monitor and respond to excavation requests on behalf of our customers. To include review of utility records and submission of records to excavators.
