Job summary

RTX is seeking an Audit Specialist – USG Compliance to advance USG contracting, accounting, and compliance expertise through audits and special projects. You will collaborate with leadership across RTX brands to understand goals and risks while contributing to ongoing internal controls improvement.

The role involves domestic travel and growth within RTX's premiere Internal Audit function, offering development opportunities and exposure to government contracting dynamics.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; minimum 5 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years experience.
• Minimum 3 years in GAAP/ Government Accounting, Compliance, Finance, Internal Audit, Internal Controls; Big Four or consulting preferred.
• Experience in public accounting, internal audit, government accounting, or project management.
• Experience in USG compliance disciplines: FAR, DFARS, CAS, Estimating, Program Finance, or USG contracting.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits and special projects to assess USG compliance across RTX Aerospace businesses.
• Develop expertise in USG contracting, accounting, and compliance.
• Assess control design and operating effectiveness across RTX sites and functions.
• Collaborate with leadership across RTX brands (Raytheon, Pratt & Whitney, Collins Aerospace, Enterprise Services, RTX Corporate) to identify risks and drive improvements.
• Support initiatives to achieve Internal Audit goals and innovation.
