Job summary

RTX is seeking an Audit Specialist – USG Compliance to advance USG contracting, accounting, and compliance expertise across RTX businesses. The role involves evaluating internal controls and collaborating with leaders to identify key risks and improvement opportunities.

Domestic travel (approx. 20–30%) may be required. The position offers growth within Internal Audit and exposure to multiple RTX segments, with training and networking to support career development.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and minimum 5 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years experience.
• Experience in GAAP Accounting, Government Accounting, Compliance, Finance, Internal Audit, Internal Controls; Big Four or consulting preferred.
• Experience with public accounting, internal audit, government accounting, or project management work.

Responsibilities

• Audit USG contracting, accounting, and compliance across RTX businesses.
• Assess control design and operating effectiveness at all RTX entities.
• Collaborate with leadership at Raytheon, Pratt & Whitney, Collins Aerospace, Enterprise Services, and RTX Corporate to learn goals and key compliance risks.
• Participate in initiatives to drive Internal Audit goals and innovation.
