Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. seeks a Regional Medical Scientific Director (RMSD) to lead scientific exchange with national and regional Urology SLs, discuss non-product areas of interest, and provide balanced medical information.

The RMSD will contribute to Clinical Research, investigator studies, and congress support while upholding scientific excellence. The role requires advanced medical credentials (PhD/PharmD/DNP/MD), 3+ years in Oncology or Urology, and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

Clinical (patient care) or research experience in assigned therapeutic area beyond that obtained in the terminal degree program.
Field-based medical science liaison (MSL) experience.
A minimum of 3 years of therapeutic area experience in Oncology or Urology.

Responsibilities

Engage with Urology SLs to exchange scientific information and insights.
Address external scientific questions and identify appropriate company resources.
Support scientific congresses and investigator studies programs as needed.
