Job summary

Accelerated Urgent Care is seeking a part-time urgent care physician for a remote telemedicine role in California. The position supports independent contractor arrangements (1099) with malpractice and tail coverage.

Duties include treating 4 patients per hour across age groups, during 6–12 hour shifts, 2–4 shifts monthly, with CA DEA for prescriptions. Applicants must finish a Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency and hold an active CA Medical License and DEA certificate.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Family Medicine Residency Program or Emergency Medicine Program.
• CA Medical License that is active and in good standing with no restrictions.
• DEA Certificate in good standing with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Urgent Care Medicine, practicing 6-12-hour shifts, 2-4 shifts per month.
• This position will be a part-time or PRN position.
• Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care).
• CA DEA needed to fill prescriptions and refill existing prescriptions.
