Job summary

CRC Group is seeking an Underwriting Support professional to assist the ChemPlan team. The role focuses on preparing underwriting documentation, data entry, and coordinating submissions and renewals to ensure accuracy and timely service delivery.

Responsibilities include gathering information from brokers or clients, maintaining organized records, and collaborating with underwriting, operations, and customer service teams to resolve issues. Prior experience in underwriting support is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in underwriting support or insurance operations is desirable.
• Familiarity with property and casualty insurance processes is preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry are essential.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word and clear communication with teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process underwriting documentation in compliance with guidelines.
• Assist underwriters by gathering information from brokers or clients.
• Perform data entry for policy and quote information into internal systems with accuracy.
• Monitor and track status of submissions and renewals for timely follow-up.
• Respond to inquiries related to underwriting processes and documentation.
• Maintain organized records for all underwriting transactions and submissions.
• Collaborate with underwriting, operations, and customer service to resolve issues.
