Job summary

CRC Group, a leading independent pure-play brokerage and underwriting specialty insurer, seeks an Underwriting Analyst to support underwriting operations, including data analysis, document preparation, and policy processing. The role requires accurate data handling, adherence to underwriting guidelines, collaboration with underwriters, and reporting.

A bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years in underwriting or related work is preferred; strong Excel skills and underwriting systems experience are

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
2–4 years of underwriting, insurance operations, or related support experience.
Exposure to property and casualty insurance processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Compile and analyze underwriting data to support risk assessments.
Prepare and review policy documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with underwriters to ensure adherence to corporate underwriting standards.
Assist with the review of submissions to identify missing information and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records in underwriting systems and databases.
Conduct research on market, industry trends, and competitor insights as required.
Generate and distribute underwriting reports to stakeholders.
