The role includes preparing rate filings, auditing new and renewing groups, and supporting internal sales with underwriting questions. This remote position allows work from OR, WA, ID or UT with hourly pay between $30.00 and $41.50, depending on skills, education and location.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in business, math, statistics or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Able to communicate underwriting decisions clearly to internal teams.
• Proven ability to analyze rate data and prepare memos or rate filings.

Aufgaben

• Approves renewal changes after verifying rates and product selection.
• Audits both new and renewing groups as necessary.
• Determines rates for alternative benefit variations.
• Prepares rate filings.
• Supports internal sales staff regarding underwriting questions and/or resolves issues.
• Effectively communicates Underwriting decisions to other departments when necessary.
