Job summary

Southwire Company is seeking a qualified Lineman for remote work responsible for the repair and rejuvenation of medium to high voltage underground cables. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with underground work, strong mechanical skills, and safety certifications. Qualifications

• Relevant work experience as a Lineman or Cable Splicer with current certification.
• Experience with URD, fault location and repair.
• Ability to read circuit maps.

Responsibilities

• Operate cable testing and analysis equipment for underground cables.
• Inject cables with rejuvenation fluids.
• Coordinate injection and digging activities.

Underground line work experience

Strong lineman underground craftwork skills

Basic computer skills

Understanding of basic construction skills

Education

Certification as Lineman or related
