Job summary

Northern Star Pogo Mine is seeking an Underground Electrician to install and maintain electrical infrastructure in challenging conditions. The role involves compliance work, maintenance repairs on equipment, and strict adherence to safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in mining, a Driver’s License, and should be flexible in adapting to changing procedures. The position requires working 28 days on and 14 days off at a remote site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in the mining industry.
• High Voltage switching ticket is desirable.
• Be able to pass a background check and post‑offer physical.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain underground electrical infrastructure.
• Perform compliance work to a high standard.
• Liaise with Electrical Supervisor and other stakeholders.
