Job summary

Leidos in Alexandria, VA seeks a UiPath Automation Engineer to lead RPA initiatives for the U.S. Coast Guard at C5ISC. You will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade automation, mentor peers, and mature our RPA Center of Excellence practices to improve delivery standards and governance.

You will work with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance, performance, and data handling in a fast-paced mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on RPA development with UiPath.
• UiPath Advanced RPA Developer certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, and deployment knowledge.
• Proficiency with .NET, VB.NET/C#, and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end UiPath automation workflows.
• Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to translate requirements into automation.
• Architect reusable components and enforce coding standards.
• Integrate UiPath with APIs and enterprise systems (ERP/CRM).
• Implement logging, exception handling, and monitoring for production stability.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior/mid-level developers.
• Manage bot deployment lifecycle including CI/CD and Orchestrator administration.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support CoE governance, documentation standards, and ROI tracking.
