Matilda Cloud is seeking a UI/UX Lead in Dallas, TX to design and establish a UX practice within the company. The role involves hands-on design execution, leading user research, and creating a foundation for the design system. A successful candidate will have over 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, especially for enterprise software, and work in collaboration with product managers and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UI/UX design experience with strong visual design skills.
• Proven experience designing enterprise or B2B software for technical users.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a design system across a product suite.
• Hands-on experience in conducting user research and synthesizing insights.
• Fluency with modern design tools, particularly Figma.

Responsibilities

• Own UI/UX design for the product suite from user flows to production specs.
• Establish a user research practice to connect with real users.
• Define and build a foundational design system for consistency.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams.
• Play an active role in hiring and mentoring designers as the function grows.
